Welcome to Creative Sparks Workshop: Where Sparks of Creativity Come to Life!

I’m Michelle, an experienced artist and tutor from Essex. Creative Sparks Workshop has a unique origin story. It all started in 2019, when my son’s enthusiasm for our creative activities inspired me to share my knowledge with other children. Unfortunately, our plans had to be put on hold due to the challenges of Covid and lockdown. However, since April 2022, we’ve been fortunate to have found our creative haven at the Pink Parrot Pottery Studio in Great Bentley at Carpenters Farm.

Our classes and workshops have been gaining popularity steadily. In April 2023, we became a registered centre for Trinity College’s Arts Awards and successfully delivered our first award in the summer and in October 2023, we proudly received the Tendring4Growth, Culture and Creativity Award.

At Creative Sparks Workshop, our ethos revolves around compassion, empathy, inclusivity, and embracing individual uniqueness as well as that of others. My personal mission is to support and nurture the artistic development and holistic well-being of every Spark who walks through our door through tailored sessions. When not running the workshops, I work as an Outreach Tutor during term time, where I teach a range of subjects from KS1 to GCSE and Functional Skills, providing support to young people from diverse backgrounds.
